Yell County Sheriff & Collector

The Yell County Sheriff is responsible for managing the Yell County Sheriff's Department, which has law enforcement jurisdiction throughout Yell County, as well as the two county jails, the Juvenile Detention Center, tax collection, and court security and bailiff services along with serving civil papers.

Sheriff Bill Gilkey

Sheriff Bill Gilkey was elected in 1999 as Sheriff of Yell County.  He and his wife Lisa live in Danville with their two sons.
